Setting up your billing information
In order to keep your account and website active, you will need to set up regular billing by credit card before the end of your trial period. You can pay monthly or annually.
Squarespace rewards customers who pay annually by giving them a 20% discount and a free custom domain name, so annual payment is the most cost-effective option.
Either click on the Upgrade Now button at the bottom of your preview area, or open the Billing & Account section within Settings and perform the following steps to set up your subscription:
- Click on Billing, then click on Upgrade to open the Select a Plan screen.
- Choose your option under Plan Level and Billing Period.
- Enter the credit card that you wish to be charged.
- Click on Update Payment Information.
If you need an invoice for tax or accounting purposes, you can view all invoices associated with your account by clicking on the Invoices link in the Billing & Account menu.
